Typofiends! Meet in Greece

I'll be at ATypI in Rome. Hopefully any North Americans who are unable to get to Europe this September will be able to come to next year's conference in Vancouver.

This year, there is also the Greek type conference in Thessaloniki at the end of next month. The registration fee is 180 euro (half for students), which is a lot less than ATypI, and the speaker line-up is very impressive. There are a number of people on the programme whom I have not met before, but whose work I admire very much, e.g. the type historians Lotte Hellinga and Hendrik Vervliet.
