Look Back in Betamax

Nobody thinks a videotape box is a design job worth doing. When those design jobs take place from 1975 onward, you know it’s gonna be burnt orange, Helvetica, and Commercial Script as far as the eye can see (second page).

Beta, it will be asserted, is still better.

I keep all my font sightings in one of the boxes that came with my Atari 400 that I've never been able to bring myself to toss. I've got another one just like it somewhere with a blue/green logo. They're just the right size for videotapes, too.
