Arrival is strikingly similar to Roxanne which, as far as I can see is STILL not a buyable/downloadable font.

Keith is a talentued and skillfull young type designer.

Keith has some wonderful potential (not to mention a decent humanist sans already under his belt), not least in his sensitivity in the area of CJK-Latin typography, which is something highly (and increasingly) needed.

BTW, Martin, I actually don't see much similarity to Roxanne.

Hi Keith!

Hehe, it’s truly a small world. I came across this site by pure chance looking for something completely different and whose name do I see? Keith Tam! Well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised…

I took the opportunity looking through your site, haven’t been there since you changed it; looks great!

Sharon and I might come to Vancouver for a bit in late may, so hopefully we’ll see each other then.

Take care,
Henrik

Henrick --

I think you might have the wrong medium for communication with kieth, this was more of a post regarding his site, not something posted by Kieth, chances are he might have not, nor will ever see this. just FYI.

Are you kidding, Hilde? Keith is our biggest fan!

Stephen | Feb 18, 2003 01:03 AM

Hildebrant:

Even though this is a public forum I can’t see a problem with a post addressed directly to the subject of this discussion, Keith. Obviously I could have sent him an email telling him I was exited and happy to see him mentioned here, but I thought doing it like this would be much more fun. It was just my way of saying that I appreciate him and his work, that’s all.

And oh, my name is actually spelled Henrik, just FYI. ;-)

Hi everyone, and especially Henrik,

Thanks for all your messages, guys. Henrik’s post really caught me by surprise! It was certainly fun to find a message here from a friend. Yes, I’ll probably be in Vancouver in May and am looking forward to seeing you and Sharon!

I’m indeed a big fan of this site, and since Stephen told me about the post, I’ve been checking back very regularly to see who’s posting comments and what they have to say... I’m working on changing the typos in my site :-P sorry!

Thank you all for the kinds words and encouragements... I really appreciate it!

Cheers,
K.

Stephen

Thanks for putting a link to Keith's site over on the reference side. I downloaded a couple of the articles and was quite impressed. Excellent synopses of the Sans and Slab Serif material and a remarkable clarity of writing style. This stuff should be getting into print.

Oh yeah, and Keith, congrats. Present and future regards.

Hi keith,

I've been trying to find your typeface Arrival but have had no luck.

Is it available on teh open market? If not, would I be able to obtain a copy from you directly?

Thanks,

D. Barned
