Not So Smarty Pants

Looks like Smarty Pants was throwing a wrench in our system. I guess we'll have to do without automatic curly quotes and em dashes. Bummer.

site's fixed, smartypants is dead, long live smartypants...

(smartypants was the plug in we used to convert all the quotes to smart quotes etc.)

Really? Please do tell what the problem was -- I honestly am not aware of any bugs in SmartyPants that would prevent a weblog from publishing correctly.
