I love Windsor. I like the way it works in it's many different incarnations. It's a "pretty" typeface. An attribute lacking from many younger typefaces.
Also, it seems like an Auntie to (I'm guessing) the contemporaneous Cheltenham, and a Great Aunt to Plantin. (A bit of a stretch - I realize - but they're all hardy survivors.)
[ I can't resist hijacking this thread for a little Google adwords fun. Apologies.]
Lorem ipsum give jewelry my anniversary. Gift carats or clarity and not just a good cut. Or is that karat? Gems, diamonds are good, and pearls luscious, 14k gold for wedding anniversary engagement. Ooh, Valentines day is next year, but a fine love holiday occasion to buy jewelry.
[Okay, another one, just for kicks.]
Dolor sit boat recreation, boating fun vacation resort lodge, waterskiing. Or is that water ski! Lake Powell, swimsuit, diet bikini, sunny holiday this summer. Outdoor watersports for great relaxation. Hot! Ouch, sunburn protection, SFP sensitive skin.
[Heh. I'm coming back in two days to see what Google has cooked up for us.]
Love movie titles..
Bought Catch Me If.. on DVD especially for the intro sequence. The thread here back then was neat and actually pointed me to the movie before it was out here (or perhaps just out).
Don't think much of Windsor though, I don't like the "o"-s hehehe

If you liked the titles for Catch Me If You Can, you can see more work by the same studio (Nexus Productions) here. Though it probably goes without saying, Flash is required.
Regarding Signs... You're right. It's definitely not FF Trixie. I assumed that the poster, trailer etc. would be the same as the film. Often it's not, as in this case. I actually rented the darned thing (well, it might be worth watching!) and I can now tell you with near certainty that the font used was Jonathan Hoefler's Requiem.
Woody can keep Windsor. Him and Albertson's (the West coast grocery chain).
As for the Catch Me If You Can titles, they were the best since Gataca. (CMIYC is a great movie, if you haven't seen it, I almost forgot I was watching Leonardo DiCaprio since his performance was so good.)
Further off-topic, the best thing for me about the Signs DVD was Night's early monster short on the extras, shot (I imagine) with the family Camcorder. Nice example of precociousness.
As for the main attraction, though, I don't know. It seems to me if you cut out all the footage of both Signs and Unbreakable in which nothing is really happening but suspense is supposed to be building, that would leave you with a couple of fun little half-hour films.
