I’m off on a lengthy series of flights to Stockholm, leaving tomorrow morning and arriving on Sunday afternoon. I’ll be without reliable e-access for a week or so as I wait for my Powerbook to arrive, thus unable to respond to your letters or attend to my editing duties until then.
Rest assured, Typographica will continue broadcasting fonty news during my one-year stay in Sweden. A beautiful thing about the internet: despite the move, I won't be any farther from this journal or its kind readers.

Ha det god! De sannolikt vilja all tala Engelsk, utom kanske du vill lära sig något Svensk. Jag icke gör det veta en uttrycka av den, så den här översättning är sannolikt söt rolig om en veta Svensk.
Have a safe trip Stephen. Eat some delicious åkerbär and hjortron, palt and stromming (although probably not together), tunnbrod, and my favorite, surstromming. MMMM!
For us non-Svedish, let alone non-English, what didd mark say please? :-{)

Carlo _ mark made a starnge word by word translation - both from Swe to Eng, and Eng to Swe and back again. I'll try to retranslate back:
"Have it good! They probably desire all speak the English, except maybe you will learn something the Swedish. I not do it know one express from it, so this one a translation is probably sweet funny if about one know the Swedish."

What?! You mean those online translators don't really work? Whatever have I been saying in those Swedish chat rooms?
Anyway, good luck, Stephen, and enjoy your time there!
