Your Editor Abandons the States

I’m off on a lengthy series of flights to Stockholm, leaving tomorrow morning and arriving on Sunday afternoon. I’ll be without reliable e-access for a week or so as I wait for my Powerbook to arrive, thus unable to respond to your letters or attend to my editing duties until then.

Rest assured, Typographica will continue broadcasting fonty news during my one-year stay in Sweden. A beautiful thing about the internet: despite the move, I won't be any farther from this journal or its kind readers.

Carlo _ mark made a starnge word by word translation - both from Swe to Eng, and Eng to Swe and back again. I'll try to retranslate back:

"Have it good! They probably desire all speak the English, except maybe you will learn something the Swedish. I not do it know one express from it, so this one a translation is probably sweet funny if about one know the Swedish."
