Free Rudolph From Hubert Jocham

Hubert Jocham's XmasRudolph

About once a month over at the Typophile ID Board we get a sample from a magazine that turns out to be a font by German type designer Hubert Jocham. Most graphic designers have never heard of Jocham, but his influence in glossy magazines runs the gamut from Details (an ID request we get all the time) to Spin, Surface, Wallpaper, ESPN and W. He has also made his mark on the logo landscape in Germany.

His new site opened in September, and while it's not as pretty as his previous Flash thing, it's certainly more functional with linkable pages, online sales cart, type sampler, and the obligatory blog.

Today, Jocham offers XmasRudolph, a free font for the season. Jocham has sprinkled snowflakes on his commercial font Rudolph for this holiday gift to visitors. It's a clever way to entice users to try both his fonts and his new shop.
