This is a personal project I have been working on for the past few months. It allows me to write effects in actionscript to manipulate outlines, producing working fonts. I can also write scripts for specific inputs, allowing me to invent physical input devices for making new type designs.
Looks cool. Any plans for a Mac version?
Possibly Josh, but it depends on the development of a mac plugin for Flash Studio Pro. If it means rewriting a lot of fudge, then I may not bother.
Sweet on, Nic. This reminds me of the old ParaType app ParaNoise.
I’m impressed, funky stuff.
Wonder how and if it’s possible to incorporate this kind of stuff in (other) flash enviroments (e.g. sites)..
keep up the good work!
“If it means rewriting a lot of fudge, then I may not bother.”
Why not make it open source? I’m quite sure someone would eventually port it to Mac.
“Sweet on, Nic. This reminds me of the old ParaType app ParaNoise.”
Yes, I took a bit of inspiration from the effects ParaNoise creates.

“Why not make it open source?”
Yes, this was my original thought, but at the moment I still want to explore it myself. Afterall I put a lot of work into it. I may release the open/plot/save functions for TTX files.
Thanks for your interest in this project :)
