UPDATE – FontAid III will sell a collaborative font to gather funds for the relief effort. Designers and illustrators are encouraged to contribute a fleuron for the font by January 14, 2005.
In other news, a Font Aid foundry has been created expressly for the purpose of allowing existing MyFonts foundries to donate specific font sales to Direct Relief International. P22 has generously donated its most popular typeface, Cezanne, to the program.
Alphabet Design will donate 100% of font sales to WorldVision.
Am I missing something? There are only 6 Font Aid fonts?
Hi Karen,
You checked out the link before the list of fonts was updated as of this morning . . .
There are WAY more than six fonts: http://www.myfonts.com/foundry/fontaid/
By the way, today is the LAST day to create and submit a fleuron for the Font Aid III font if you were going to. More details at: http://www.fontaid.com
Stuart :D
Yay!!! I knew I could expect more from the typographic community!
