Margie Script

Reviewed by Anna Malsberger, posted on July 11, 2007

Margie is a sexy, robust script that commands attention, a face that knows how to play a crowd.

Wearing ball terminals and flauncy flourishes like big baubles and gauzy scarves, you might think she was compensating for a lack of substance. After all, you perhaps caught the adornments of her form before you actually read her content. But then you keep looking, and you notice the curious way she connects her strokes (‘h’, ‘k’, ‘m’, ‘n’, ‘r’, ‘M’, ‘N’) and you think, “Oh my, this is a complicated specimen, to be displayed judiciously, but certainly one to keep on my arm, and in my font case.” — Anna Malsberger
