TypeGallery2005 Call for Submissions

Tamye Riggs on June 23, 2005

Show your face(s) during Type Week in New York! The TypeGallery is a showcase of new typeface design presented by The Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA). The TypeGallery will be exhibited during TypeCon2005, and many works will travel internationally after the conference. All typefaces shown at TypeCon2005 will also become part of a permanent online exhibition on the TypeGallery site. Some works may also be selected for print publication by SOTA.

Deadline for Submissions: July 15, 2005

  1. Nick Shinn says:

Not much time, but whatever you do won’t be wasted, as this is not a competition. Everything submitted will be hung.

  2. And from experience, people do see the exhibition! We are all eager to see new typefaces aren’t we?!

  3. Attention those whom are still interested in submitting to the Type Gallery. The absolute drop-deadline for entries is Wednesday, July 18th, at 10am EST. You may bring them to Parsons yourself as long as we have digital versions by Monday at 5pm. We appreciate all entries and really do not want to turn anyone away, but we must set a deadline.
