TypeCon2004 Imminent

Written by Typographica on July 12, 2004

The almost-sure-to-be-final program schedule for TypeCon2004 is live. Procrastinators take note: rates increase at midnight Pacific Time. Get in while it’s still super cheap. Call for submissions for the TypeGallery show also went out — if you’ve designed new type, show it at this annual exhibition, which will travel internationally after the ’con.

If you’ve forgotten why you need to attend this conference, read this.

  1. People who are especially nice to me at TypeCon might get taken out to Zuni for cocktails and oysters. Especially girls!

Zuni’s, nice, JLT! I had my first visit there when I was in SF last month.

  3. Hrant says:

Josh, does the fact that I’ve been nice to you since day one make up for my incorrect gender?

  4. jlt says:

Do you even need to ask? All of us non-kosher/halal types need to spend the whole trip eating bacon sandwiches and slurping down oysters. And the drinking.

  5. Hrant says:

Remind me to tell you about my
    pancetta encounter in the Pyrennees.
