Cape-Arcona Type Foundry Newsletter — Jan-2005
Brothers and Sisters, Ladies and gentlemen,
Today is the birthday of the King: Elvis Presley. He is now 70 years old, or would be, depending on your point of view. He gave us so many marvellous songs, songs that inspired us to create fonts and love the girls we love.
The King gave us so much, songs like »You don’t have to say you love me« or »You’ve lost that lovin’ feeling«…
In tribute to the King, to say: »Thank you for peanut butter & banana Sandwiches and everything«, we give YOU, yes YOU a little present: For only one week we offer our new commercial font CA Magic Hour Shadow« for free download.
Oh baby, pick up CA Magic Hour Shadow™ and get yourself a peanut butter sandwich and hail to the King, Baby!
WE HAVE MORE!
A new font is seeing the light of the world! Welcome CA Zaracusa™
The friendly sanserif textfont from Cape-Arcona. And for sure, the King inspired us creating this font, since we can’t help falling in love…
CA Zaracusa™ comes with two widths in two styles and two weights with regular and alternating numbers give you all the options to layout even complex printed matters. Extensively tested during a whole year as a corporate font for a German documentary film festival.

Hail to the King, Baby!

I didn’t used to like Elvis at all, but lately I’ve acquired a taste for the certain innocence he -or maybe his era- conveyed. As for being alive, all I’ll say is: Long live Elvis fonts!
And I hope I look this OK when I’m 70.
