Apologies for the downtime and thanks to all those who sent notes of support. While we speak to our friends at CIRA about our legitimacy as a Canadian organization you can find us here at typographi.com. Special thanks to Greg Storey for his quick hand with the temp digs.
Typographicom! Now all we need is a logo with a swoosh in it.

Way better than nothing. Glad it’s back!
That should be our new slogan: “Typographicom: way better than nothing!”
Its back, Its back.. Typographi*/ca*com is back.. :)
Welcome back.. I missed you.. :)
So, should anyone update their links back to typographica.org / to Typographi.com.?
How are chances that the original typographica.org domain will be returned and reactivated.?
Yeah, Typographi.com doesn’t have that certain ring, that je-ne-sais-quoi to it. I hope you can persuade the Canadians.
Welcome Back Joshua and Stephen!
Hey! I just noticed that Joshua has a coveted gmail account. Nice!
I would also like to thank our ISP – Itsamac.com – and especially Tyler and Chris there for their amazing response time in dealing with multiple problems/requests/questions this afternoon. The changes they were making with the DNS/server/forwarding issues were happening realtime over the phone, and both were understanding and helpful with their suggestions. It was above and beyond the call of the ordinary.
Glad you are back!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! He chortled in his joy.
Welcome back to the airwaves.
Nice to see you guys are back. =)
Hear, hear!
Good luck with CIRA.
Is there a CIRA address/ person we can email or write on your behalf? To proclaim your upholding of Canadian web ideals? Typo-people unite!(?)
good luck with the .ca, stephen! and welcome back to the states.
Welcome back! Just in time, too, as I was contemplating taking up heroin or crack to while away the time. It wouldn’t have provided as much of a high as Typographica, but you know, you do what you have to to survive.
Hello again! That’s a shame *aboot* the Canada problems. Hopefully they’ll right this situation. Anyway, glad to have you guys back, in any form.
Glad to have found where you’re hiding. Good luck with CIRA, and good to have you back.
YAY! A few days went by and I had no idea what was going on. Didn’t realize how much I checked this site until it wasn’t there! After some googling I finally found typographi.com. I really wish people would stop buying and parking domains like typographica.com. Such a mean thing to do.
I’m ambivalent about the .com, but I’m glad to have you back.
Stephen, this is Providence smiling. Your new handle will make it much easier to monetize your investment.
Yippee Hoorah! I like it. :)
Just wondering — wasn’t Typographica originally located at a different address? I seem to recall the .ca address coming a little later. Of course, since I’m sick I could be being delusional.
Hey, thanks for the link to e-Normicom.com – just what I need to re-brand myself. I’m just a little worried, though, that their Nametron 3000 (TM) looks an awful lot like a second-hand Honeywell Kitchen Computer.
Yeah, I seem to remember it being typographica.blogspot.com or something. Man, those were the days… remember that guy back then? What was his name, Eminem or something?
Yep, and typographica.blogspot.com is still there.
I remember posting an item about it when it first appeared on the Coudal Partners site while lamenting the demise of Lines & Splines.
Whatever happened to Lines & Splines. I’d totally forgotten about it. Andy Crewdson, was that him?
Yeah, that was Andy. After he pulled the plug on Lines & Splines, he started a new website of more in-depth articles called “New Series,” but that seems to be gone now, too. I see articles by him from time to time, but he seems to be laying low. I have the impression that he doesn’t enjoy attention.
Tom – We’ve got a pretty decent search here. A query for “lines and splines” brings up a few posts on Andy and his blogging history.
Stephen, great site, buddy. You DO have a ton of fans. Glad to become one of ’em.
SS
hi joshua and steven, just wanted to say it’s good to have you back! greetings from germany!
I think typographi.com is quite cool, in a strange kind of way.
but why not move to cyprus? typographi.cy
or the Czech Republic? typographi.cz
i’m sure they’d love to have you!
Amazing: you already have a new nameplate sporting the old/current domain! Man, that was fast!
typographic.om
now that would be worth contemplating.
The .ca was definitely cool..I had a few day’s worry too until the discovery of the new address-it is really an addiction! And speaking on the behalf of the cypriot population, we would sure love to have you! After all, Typography is a greek word :)
typograph.it seems free.
Whew! It took me just a Google search, a pair of seconds, and I’m here. I was starting to worry…
“typographic.om” is great, Nick. Om is the single sound which originated all creation, in Indian religions, I always loved the sound. But is there such a domain extension, “.om”?
Or maybe “typograp.hu” (funny)
OM is also, of course, the acronym for “Omnipresent Munificence.”
I am WAY too late, but please forgive me. This wonderful opportunity just can’t be ignored:
-typogra.fi
-typographi.ac
-typographi.ae
-typogra.ph
-typographi.qa
-typographi.sh
